I'm connecting with Elizabeth Caldwell over at Organized Chaos again for this week's Fermata Friday entry! Hope you enjoy these ideas and definitely go back and read more from all the other fabulous music teachers who have linked up for this week.
So I'm sitting here in my office with my coke on one side and some snacks on the other side trying to get the energy to get up and actually accomplish something in my room. I've even thought about singing the song my aunt used to sing in the mornings... "Oh energy.... come to me.... " that's as far as she ever got in her song... of course I think that was before her coffee so there's that.
Today I want to share with you a couple of Pinterest finds that have jumped off the pinterest board and into real life! Some of you may be thinking, "So THAT'S what I"m supposed to do with all those pins??? " Yes that IS the general idea! ha!

On the left you see the pin photo which you can read more about HERE. On the right you see my version. I have made it all pretty with labels or anything yet but it is a work in progress. In the top holder I stored have smaller cards such as Mrs. Chandler's Instruments of the Orchestra Task Cards and Boomwhacker Flashcards from Music in Motion.
Ok so being organized is one of my big things. I had a teaching partner a few years ago who was always amazed at how I could put my hands on just about anything in just a matter of seconds.
Like many of you I have spent a few pennies picking up great ideas from Teachers Pay Teachers. (You know how it is... one or two....items here and there, and there, and there, and oh yeah that one too.) My wish list is so long I'll have to work till I'm 80 to pay for it all! So I felt it was important to start organizing my finds because as you know not all of them are printables or worksheets etc. Some of those fabulous finds are games or activities that don't require pencil/paper work. So here is my pinterest find and my iteration of it:

On the left you see my Pinterest pin. You can find out more about it HERE. On the right is a nice little bookshelf I found at Target with my binders on it. I'll admit they are not all full yet but I'm sure it won't take long to fill them up!!
Here they are a little bit closer in so you can see more clearly. Also on the right are the binder covers I selected from Stuck on Teaching. If you like them you can find them HERE. I would love to see or hear what pins you have turned into reality in your own classroom! Leave me a message below!
